Laura R. King has joined newspaper publisher Black Ox in the U.K. as a regional business editor.
Commenting on her appointment, she said:
“I have heard such great things about the ambitions, scope and culture of Black Ox and its publications. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone I get to work closely with, both within the company and as hardworking business owners in the community.”
Recently, King worked at MailOnline for more than six years. There, she held the posts of moderator, U.K. communities manager, U.K. deputy communities editor and communities editor.
She also worked as an online sub-editor and production editor at News U.K. She interned at Hearst magazines and Archant.
King has a B.A. from the University College of Falmouth, Cornwall and is a NCTJ-certified journalist.
