KFF Health News has hired Briah Lumpkins to be its Georgia correspondent.
She will travel across the state telling stories about how federal and state health policy is shaping Georgians’ daily lives
Lumpkins is at the Charlotte Observer, where she has been an emerging news reporter. She also worked at The Houston Landing as a suburban reporter and at The Post and Courier as a fellow.
Lumpkins is a Miami University fellow.
