The Atlantic has hired Will Oremus as a tech reporter.
He has been at The Washington Post, where he has produced authoritative work about technology and the fracturing of reality. He has broken news about the AI industry’s quest to scan millions of the world’s books, profiled a policeman who spent a month in jail for posting a Charlie Kirk meme, and written about the proliferation of conspiracy theories after a devastating hurricane in North Carolina.
Before joining the Post, Will worked at OneZero and Slate.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University.
