Insider has hired Adam Rogers from Wired magazine to be a senior tech correspondent.
He has been at Wired for 18 years. He is a senior correspondent and previously was deputy editor and articles editor.
Rogers has been covering science and miscellaneous geekery. Before coming to Wired, Rogers was a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT and a reporter for Newsweek for nine years covering science, tech and medicine.
He is the author of The New York Times science bestseller “Proof: The Science of Booze.” He also wrote a book about the science of color.
Rogers holds a bachelor’s degree from Pomona College and a master’s degree from Boston University.
