Inc. hires Gossage as West Coast editor

Inc. magazine has hired Bobbie Gossage as its West Coast editor.

She will be covering the economics of emerging growth companies across industries.

Gossage is an award-winning editor with more than 20 years of experience in journalism, storytelling, and content strategy. She previously spent more than a decade as a writer and editor for Inc. earlier in her career, has also been an editor at Fast Company, Fortune and Medium, and led editorial content teams at Etsy and LearnVest.

She was executive editor of Inc. in 2014 and 2015.

Gossage is a graduate of New York University.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
