Ignites/Board IQ hire Hall as data visualization reporter

Madison Hall

Ignites and Board IQ, two Financial Times publications, have hired Madison Hall as a data visualization reporter.

She previously was a Business Insider data reporter for three and a half years.

In 2019 she was awarded “Best Information Graphic” by the Missouri Press Association for her infographic on phage display research completed by Nobel laureate Dr. George Smith.

In 2022, Digiday named her the “Journalist of the Year.”

She graduated from the University of Missouri in 2019 with a degree in data journalism.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
