Kate Hunter has been named deputy White House editor for Bloomberg News.
She has been Washington bureau morning editor for the past 14 months.
Hunter has previously been a U.S. politics editor for Bloomberg. She helped launch “Balance of Power,” Bloomberg’s global politics newsletter.
She previously was a senate correspondent for Bloomberg, covering breaking news and enterprise stories from Senate legislation and campaigns.
Hunter previously worked at CQ Roll Call as a reporter. She also worked at Stateline.org and the Chapel Hill News in North Carolina.
She is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate.
