IndieWire taps Maglio as executive editor, business

Tony Maglio

Entertainment industry website IndieWire has hired Tony Maglio as executive editor for business coverage.

He will be based in New York.

In his new role, Maglio will oversee the site’s television and film industry coverage. He will also offer his own insight and analysis. Maglio joins from The Wrap, where he recently served as TV editor. Before that, he was a senior TV reporter.

He was also a senior financial analyst at General Motors Asset Management and was an accounting manager at State Street Corp. in Princeton, New Jersey.

Maglio has a B.S. and MBA from Monmouth University and a masters in journalism from Columbia  University.
