    • We do everything. What I like about Axios is that we’re not having to cover every single story. I started my career at the peak of digital media—I worked at The Huffington Post and Mashable. It was the era of BuzzFeed, where there was a lot of obsession on covering the “right now,” which was largely SEO-driven content. • What Axios and I pride ourselves on is being subject matter experts. The most value I can bring is new information, because I know the right people to call, and I know how to put things in context and analyze them. My colleague Sara Fischer’s and my latest monthly deep dive was about China. We looked at the topic in terms of how to provide analysis to the media industry at large, whether it’s the TikTok deal, how Hollywood is reacting to China building its own movie empire, and China having its own AI systems.
