Cartwright writes, “‘Despite significant market and distribution headwinds, the United States remains Axel Springer’s most important growth market,’ a spokesperson told Breaker. ‘At the group level, revenue rose meaningfully in the first half of 2026, and our U.S. publishing businesses contributed to that strong performance.’

EMARKETER, which recently fell victim to hackers, ‘continues to be profitable, is expanding its intelligence, advisory, events, and AI-enabled offerings, including a recent acquisition of RetailX’s research team,’ the spokesperson said.”
