Catherine Marfin is leaving Law360, where she covers Houston courts, to become a senior media relations specialist at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
She previously was a breaking news reporter at the Dallas Morning News.
Marfin previously was a reporting fellow at the Texas Tribune and interned at the Houston Chronicle and the Austin American-Statesman.
Marfin has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, where she held various reporter and editorial roles at the student paper The Daily Texan.
