MIT Sloan Management Review is shutting its online publication and quarterly magazine, reports Kevin Haynes of Inc. magazine.
Haynes reports, “The exact date of the Review’s final deadline and the number of employees affected have yet to be announced.
“News of SMR’s demise was contained in a letter to colleagues of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management from dean Richard M. Locke. A copy of the letter was obtained by Inc.
“The ‘difficult decision,’ he said, stems from the school’s pending move to merge its communications office with formerly independent programs ‘to build a more unified, strategic, and streamlined approach to messaging and communications practices.'”
