Hirji departs BuzzFeed for Bloomberg

Zahra Hirji

Zahra Hirji, energy and climate reporter at BuzzFeed News, has left to join Bloomberg Green.

As per her Tweet, she will be working on the “how to decarbonize your life” beat.

Prior to joining BuzzFeed, she reported on climate and energy issues for InsideClimate News. She also wrote for MIT Medical and AIR Worldwide and was an Earth science blogger at Discovery News.

Hirji has a B.A. from Brown University and a master’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
