The Washington Post has promoted Damian Paletta to deputy business editor.
He previously served as an economics editor, driving front-line coverage of some of the biggest stories in pandemic Washington.
Before that, he reported on the Trump White House and economic policy. Prior to the Post, he spent 11 years covering Washington for the Wall Street Journal.
He formerly worked for the American Banker and the Cape Cod Times.
Damian graduated from Boston College and earned a master’s in journalism from the University of Missouri.
