Pete McEntegart, the managing editor for GrepBeat, is leaving the tech news organization after six years.
GrepBeat covers technology and innovation news in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina.
“Almost six years later, GrepBeat is a real part of the Triangle’s startup ecosystem that can stand on its own without me,” said McEntegart in a LinkedIn post.
He previously was a senior writer for Sports Illustrated. He also worked as a reporter for the Daily Advertiser in Lafayette, Louisiana.
McEntegart holds a bachelor’s degree from Williams College and a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
