Matt Novak, a senior writer at Gizmodo, has been made redundant after almost 10 years with the outlet. Novak’s tweet reads:
“It’s been an honor to work with such amazing, talented people for so long. I loved my job and I know that I was tremendously lucky to have it for as long as I did.
“Thanks to Australian labor law, it looks like I’ll still be writing at Gizmodo for about a month longer. I don’t know what I’m going to do next. I’ll probably be heading back to the U.S., so if anyone has writing work they think I’d be good for, please let me know.”
Novak joined Gizmodo in May 2013.
