The Financial Times has appointed Adrian Barrick as editorial content director of FT Specialist Europe, which includes well-known brands including The Banker, Investors’ Chronicle and fDi Intelligence.
FT Specialist Europe is a part of the global FT Specialist division. FT Specialist is composed of 19 brands and has almost 425,000 paying readers. Barrick will be responsible for ensuring editorial excellence across UK and European titles, including new product initiatives, and will support editors to deliver content strategies that support the overall growth plans of FT Specialist.
Barrick has almost three decades of experience leading B2B brands in the UK, US and Asia. He was previously group editorial director at Incisive Media, and has held senior positions at Haymarket Media Group and UBM. He was named editorial director of the year by the British Society of Magazine Editors for 2021-22 and digital leader of the year by the Professional Publishers Association for 2017-18.
