The Financial Times has named Henry Foy its Brussels bureau chief.
Foy will continue to serve as the FT’s European diplomatic correspondent and the voice of “Europe Express,” the FT’s weekday newsletter on European affairs.
Foy was also the FT’s European diplomatic correspondent, based in Brussels. He reported on the EU’s foreign policy, relations between Brussels and other world powers, and the diplomatic intrigues between member states.
Previously he was Moscow bureau chief, where he interviewed Vladimir Putin and charted his regime’s descent into repression. Foy has also been posted in Warsaw and London since joining the FT in 2013 from Reuters.
Also contributing to “Europe Express” is a cast of correspondents from the FT’s Europe network.
