Sports business news website Front Office Sports has hired Mark Maske to cover the National Football League.
Maske has been covering the NFL for The Washington Post before leaving the paper in February. He has covered the NFL and the Washington Redskins/Commanders since 1998. He previously covered baseball, the Baltimore Orioles, the effort to bring a major league team to Washington, and colleges.
He had two stints as a Washington team beat writer, from 1998 to 2004 and again in 2012 and 2013. He most recently covered the NFL at large, focusing on league-wide issues and stories.
Maske holds a degree from the University of Virginia in rhetoric and communications.
