Hadley Gamble, former CNBC international correspondent, has been hired by IMI as chief international anchor.
IMI, based in Abu Dhabi, has media brands including The National, Sky News Arabia, CNN Business Arabic, and Al-Ain News.
“I am excited to be joining a media group with global reach and a clear editorial vision across its media outlets,” said Gamble in a statement. She will be based in London and will lead a new slate of cross-platform content.
Gamble, part of a CNBC team based in Abu Dhabi, left the business news channel in 2023. She was known for launching a Middle East-focused program from her bureau. She also filed a complaint that accused former NBC Universal Chief Executive Jeff Shell of sexual harassment and sex discrimination.
She has also worked for ABC News, and Fox News in Washington, DC, producing news programs and covering major political events, including the 2008 Presidential debates, election night, and the inauguration of President Barack Obama. She is currently also a columnist for Semafor.
