Bloomberg News news director Tina Davis is leaving the news organization after 18 years to join a Richmond real estate company.
She has been in her current role for slightly more than a year.
Davis was previously managing editor of energy and commodities and executive editor of legal coverage at Bloomberg.
Davis started her career at Bloomberg in 2005 as a reporter. She was then promoted to post of editor and later on in 2015, she held the post of managing editor at the organization.
Before joining Bloomberg, Davis was a reporter for The Energy Daily. Before that, she was a research assistant at the Sunday Times of London and also worked as an editorial assistant at The Economist.
Davis is also the co-author of “Last Oil Baron,” a biography of Leon Hess and Hess Corp.
