Dallas Morning News reporter Nick Wooten, who has been covering residential real estate, is now the commercial real estate reporter.
He joined the paper in February 2024.
Wooten previously worked at Atlanta’s NBC affiliate 11Alive, where he was an investigative reporter who spent time digging into the Fulton County criminal trial against former President Donald Trump and charges of election tampering.
Before that, he was an investigative and accountability reporter at the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer in Georgia where he covered the COVID-19 pandemic and elections. His reporting won several awards from the Georgia Press Association.
Wooten is a graduate of Mercer University.
