The Dallas Business Journal has hired Noor Adatia to cover economic development in Collin County.
Assistant managing editor Bill Hethcock writes, “Adatia started Dec. 6. Her focus will be on Collin County, covering the people and projects that give it one of the state’s most dynamic economies.
“‘Noor is the perfect reporter to build an informative and authoritative beat on Collin County for DBJ,’ said Will Anderson, editor in chief of the publication. ‘She’s a talented, driven journalist who will elevate our coverage of this important region — one with dozens of corporate HQs, more than 1 million residents and countless mid-size and small businesses. We are so excited to have her in the newsroom.’
“Adatia, a Dallas-Fort Worth native and graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication, has worked at the Houston Chronicle, Sacramento Bee, Politico and Dallas Morning News. She has covered a wide variety of topics and has spent the last year-plus at the Morning News honing her breaking news skills.”
