Ollie Chandhok, the publisher of the Dallas Business Journal, sent out the following to the staff:
DBJ —
Editor in Chief, Jeff Schnick has informed me that he’ll be leaving the Dallas Business Journal. His last day will be September 5th.
Jeff has been with the DBJ for almost 9 years, starting as our Managing Editor and quickly moving into the Editor in Chief role. He is one of he most successful and tenured Editor’s in DBJ’s history.
He has accomplished many amazing things in his time with DBJ. He’s built our media company into the leading business news publication in North Texas. He’s hired, training and mentored numerous journalists in our house and across the country. He’s been an important advisor for ACBJ ideas and objectives. He’s covered prominent executives, corporate relocations, and major news stories that have shaped our community.
Most of all he’s been a great leader and friend. He will be missed.
Please join me in thanking Jeff for all he’s accomplished at DBJ!
We’ll begin the search for our new EIC immediately.
