V. Dion Haynes has been hired by CoStar Group to be a regional editor for Homes.com.
Haynes has been managing editor at the American Psychological Association.
He previously was the real estate editor at The Washington Post. He joined the Post in 2005 to cover D.C. schools and then later served as a business writer and managing editor of its Capital Business publication. Haynes is a former president of the National Association of Real Estate Editors.
Haynes previously worked at the Chicago Tribune as a Chicago schools reporter and a Los Angeles-based national correspondent.
He holds degrees from Wayne State University and Northwestern University.
