Contexte has hired Ciarán Sunderland to cover European Union energy policy as part of a new English-language news service starting next month.
Sunderland currently works as an EU and NATO correspondent for dpa Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH in Brussels.
He previously was a digital journalist for the Irish Examiner.
Sunderland holds a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in Dublin.
