Cryptocurrency news site CoinDesk has hired Nick Baker as its deputy editor in chief.
He has been an editor on the U.S. markets editing desk at Bloomberg News. He had been at Bloomberg for more than 16 years.
Baker previously was an editor on the rates and foreign exchange team, and a team leader and reporter on the market structure team.
He also worked as a reporter and the team leader for U.S. stocks. Baker also edited the Real M&A column.
He previously worked as a reporter for Dow Jones Newswires covering bankruptcies and telecom.
Baker is a graduate of Ohio University.
