CNBC names Flynn executive producer of “Halftime Report”

Kevin Flynn, executive producer of “Closing Bell: Overtime” at CNBC, has been appointed executive producer of “Halftime Report” at the network.

Previously, Flynn served as executive producer of “Fast Money,” “Options Action,” “ETF Edge,” and “Trading Nation.” Before that, he was the supervising producer of “Worldwide Exchange.” He joined CNBC in December 2010 as a senior producer.

Before joining CNBC, he was a digital video producer at NBC News.

Flynn has a B.A. from New York University.
