CNBC has hired Alex Harring as a reporter on its markets team.
Harring is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, where he studied English and political science. He interned this summer at The Wall Street Journal.
He worked for four years at The Michigan Daily, most recently leading the Culture, Training and Inclusion team, and as a news editor and reporter before that.
Harring previously interned at CNN, CNBC and The Detroit News, and he spent the spring at NBC News in the Business, Technology and Innovation Unit.
