CJR head departs to lead climate change coverage, Georgia Public Radio’s exec producer, WaPo’s three National desk adds

Columbia Journalism Review editor and publisher Kyle Pope (pictured) is leaving to spearhead Covering Climate Now and bring more urgency to the issue. Jeff Hullinger has joined Georgia Public Broadcasting as executive producer for local content, and three staff members have assumed new posts on the Washington Post’s National desk: Amy Fiscus, Rosalind Helderman and Peter Wallsten.
