Chin joins Bloomberg as oil trading reporter

Yongchang Chin

Bloomberg has hired Yongchang Chin as an oil trading reporter, based in Singapore.

Chin joined from Dow Jones, where he reported on energy, commodities, real estate, equities and other asset classes.

He also covered corporate activity, including IPOs, M&As, deals, earnings and wider corporate finance news. He served as energy market reporter at ICIS and previously interned at Bloomberg.

He also interned at The Business Times, Guardian News & Media and The New Paper in Singapore.

Chin has a B.A. from Durham University and a master’s degree from the University of Oxford.
