
Mae Cheng, an executive vice president at Dow Jones & Co., has left the company after more than a decade to pursue another opportunity, reports Lachlan Cartwright of Breaker.
She was in charge of the company’s luxury brands and live events.
Before that, she was senior vice president of Barron’s Group. Cheng also spent five years running Mansion Global, which under her leadership grew sharply in revenue each year. She helped reinvigorate the print business, overseeing the launch of Mansion Global magazine and various commercially successful newsprint inserts.
At Barron’s Group, she helped build the events offerings across Barron’s, MarketWatch, and Mansion Global. She also relaunched Barron’s Penta to be a must-read wealth management and luxury lifestyle magazine for financial advisors and other subscribers alike.
Prior to her role at Mansion Global, Cheng was a special projects editor at The Wall Street Journal. Before that, she held various top editing roles at Newsday, Cablevision and amNewYork.
