Laurie Chen has joined Reuters as a China correspondent, based in Beijing. She will cover politics and general news.
Recently, Chen was a China and Mongolia correspondent at the AFP, where she worked for three years. Before that, she was a China reporter at the South China Morning Post.
She worked on The Telegraph’s foreign desk and The Guardian.
Chen has a bachelor’s degree from UCL and a master’s degree from City, University of London.
