Brian Hossack, editor of Newsquest-owned Greenock Telegraph, has left after 10 years. He will join Wyvex Media as head of online content.
Hossack wrote on LinkedIn:
“After ten years, almost 3,200 Teles and over 200 editions of the Largs and Millport News, it is time for a new challenge.
“I’ve had an amazing time leading one of the most dedicated and committed newsrooms anywhere in this industry.
“I’m fortunate that there have been many more highs than lows and I would like to think as a team we have represented Inverclyde – and more latterly Largs – to the very best of our abilities.
“I’ll be so sad to leave behind colleagues that I consider friends, but I’m really excited about the opportunity presented to me and what comes next in my career as I take up the role of head of online content with Wyvex Media.”
