Charlotte Business Journal research director Amy Shapiro is joining the parent company American City Business Journals.
She will oversee research projects at the three North Carolina publications operated by ACBJ, including the annual Book of Lists and weekly lists. It’s the first time that the research efforts in the state are managed centrally.
Shapiro oversaw research and data projects for the Charlotte Business Journal. She was responsible for weekly industry Lists and the annual Book of Lists publication. She has conducted business surveys and produced data-related content at CBJ for over 25 years.
Shapiro holds a master’s degree in library science from the University of North Carolina
