Ernie Long has been hired as managing editor of Lehigh Valley Business and the Central Penn Business Journal, both BridgeTower Media publications.
Long had been at the Morning Call in Allentown for the 34 years, most recently as content editor in charge of sports content.
He was also an assistant sports editor, a desk editor and copy chief, a reporter and a sports news assistant.
Long holds a degree in English from Bloomsburg University.
