Castillo joins STAT News to cover national health policy

STAT News has hired Ambar Castillo to cover national health policy and research.

Recently, Castillo was a staff writer at the Washington City Paper.

Previously, she interned at The Phoenix and was a community reporter at the hyperlocal newspaper Mott Haven Herald, Hunts Point Express. She also interned at StoryCorps.

Castillo graduated from Boston University.
