Lynne Carty

Barron’s editor in chief David Cho sent out the following to the staff:

All,

We are thrilled to announce that Lynne Carty is joining Barron’s as an Art Director.

Lynne served in this role at Barron’s in 2016-18 when she elevated our storytelling through sophisticated design, illustration and data. She has spent the last four years at The Wall Street Journal, where she worked as art director for the Business & Finance section.

Prior to joining Dow Jones, she worked as a designer and illustrator for MIT Technology Review in Cambridge, Mass. Lynne studied journalism and art at Northwestern University and lives in Boston with her trusted co-worker, a basenji pup named Conan.

Please join us in welcoming Lynne back to Barron’s to support our continued expansion of visual reporting across platforms. She starts Nov. 14.
