Bloomberg News reporter Agatha Cantrill is leaving the news service after five years.
Cantrill has been covering technology, media and telecoms based out of Berlin. She focuses on the German startups, industry and investment, as well as the role of big tech companies and tech regulation in Europe.
Since joining the Bloomberg News tech team, she has reported extensively on artificial intelligence, labor rights in tech and the growing role of tech companies in the defense sector.
Prior to covering technology for Bloomberg, Cantrill worked as Bloomberg TV’s field producer in Berlin, coordinating coverage of major news events including the 2021 German national election and the nation’s coronavirus response.
She also produced interviews with business leaders, lawmakers and central bankers from across Europe.
