Business Insider staffer Michael Cogley has left to become London editor of The Currency.
He was editor of Business Insider’s startups and VC team in London. He oversaw its coverage of Europe’s most exciting startups and the companies that back them.
Prior to joining Insider, he was a tech correspondent at The Telegraph where he wrote scoops, analysis, and features on some of Britain’s biggest startups, including Revolut and Monzo.
Originally from Ireland, he spent years working at some of the country’s biggest titles, including the Sunday Independent and The Times.
