Dan DeFrancesco has been promoted to executive editor at Business Insider as well as anchoring “Business Insider Today.”
He has been anchoring since June 2023.
A former senior finance editor, deputy editor and deputy executive editor, he also wrote the daily finance newsletter “10 Things on Wall Street.”
DeFrancesco has been at Business Insider for nearly eight years, initially as a senior reporter covering fintech before transitioning into an editor role with a focus on financial tech.
DeFrancesco previously worked at InfoPro Digital covering commodities and risk management for Risk.net.
