Chris Johnston has taken on the role of senior editor of weekdays at Business Insider. In his new role, he will commission and edit stories from staff across the UK newsroom.
Recently, Johnston held the post of weekend business editor. Previously, he worked as a digital business editor at The Telegraph. Before that, he was a reporter and news editor at The Guardian and BBC News. He also worked at The Times for more than 10 years, holding the posts of news editor and business news editor.
He also reported for TES (Times Educational Supplement and Times Higher Education Supplement).
Johnston graduated from Queensland University of Technology in Australia.
