Leah Rosenbaum, the health editor at Business Insider, is leaving the news organization as part of its layoffs.

She has been editing about infectious diseases, parenting, chronic illnesses, and other medical topics.

She joined Business Insider in 2021 after spending two years at Forbes reporting on the business of health care and the coronavirus pandemic.

Before working at Forbes, she was a freelance journalist who wrote stories for STAT and Vice, and a graduate student at UC Berkeley studying journalism and public health.
