Leslie J. Allen has been hired by Bridge Michigan as a deputy editor.
Allen has spent decades in business journalism, including more than 15 years at Automotive News, where she led the mobility team, which covers emerging automotive technology, including electrified and autonomous transportation, and was editor-in-chief of its Shift magazine.
She was part of the team that launched Automotive News TV, eventually becoming its managing editor and executive producer.
Most recently, Allen was a senior editor for Business Insider. She’s also a former auto editor of the Detroit Free Press and former associate business editor at the Philadelphia Inquirer.
