Katherine Brewer has been named executive editor of “The Journal” podcast at The Wall Street Journal.
She oversees the editorial direction for the daily show and its limited series.
She’s been with the podcast since 2020, joining the team as editor. The Journal’s work has won a Polk award, a New York Press Club award, a SABEW award, an Online Journalism award and an Overseas Press Club award and was a finalist for an Association of Magazine Editors award and a duPont-Columbia award.
Brewer was previously the managing producer of podcasts at WBUR in Boston, where she directed the strategic and editorial agenda for all the station’s podcasts. She also worked at “Washington Week with Gwen Ifill,” where she was part of a team that was nominated for a National Emmy award.
