Bloomberg News reporter Nancy Cook, who has been on its White House team covering economic policy, is moving to a new role as a senior national political correspondent.
She will start her new position in January and cover how policy meets politics for both Democrats and Republications.
Cook joined Bloomberg at the end of 2020 to cover the incoming Biden White House, with a special focus on economic policy and the ways the incoming administration dug the country out of the recession and COVID-19.
She previously covered the White House for Politico. Cook also worked for Newsweek, Fast Company and the National Journal.
She is a Carleton College graduate.
