The show will launch June 3.
The show will be hosted by anchors Haidi Stroud-Watts in Sydney and Shery Ahn in Tokyo from a new studio. The show will broadcast live from Sydney and Tokyo as Australia, Japan, and South Korea’s markets come online.
“Asia is at the forefront of some of the world’s biggest stories and The Asia Trade is where the action starts,” said Nick Killham, Bloomberg Head of Asia TV, in a statement. “We’re thrilled to have Shery Ahn relocate to Tokyo, joining forces with Haidi Stroud-Watts in Sydney to kick off our morning programming and bring Bloomberg’s audiences everything they need to get ahead.”
The new show also comes after the debut of “Bloomberg: The China Show” and is a part of Bloomberg’s growing expansion of coverage in the region.
