
Bloomberg News journalist Kevin Orland has been named deputy team leader for Americas oil trading coverage.
He will remain Calgary bureau chief.
He has been with Bloomberg since October 2003, originally starting as a general assignment reporter. He was also commodities editor and commodities team leader, and he spent 15 month as the industrial deputy team leader and 14 months as the autos deputy team leader. He also covered financial services in Toronto.
He previously worked for the Associated Press in Milwaukee for 18 months.
Orland has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Marquette University and an MBA from Benedictine University.
