Michael Tsang, managing editor of the markets editing hub at Bloomberg News, sent out the following:
All,
Please join me in congratulating Lauren LaCapra, who will move to Credit to become TL for Leveraged Finance and Private Credit.
During her time on the Markets Editing Hub, Lauren has impressed with her command of markets and finance, a no-nonsense demeanor and her ability to work across the newsroom. She’s been an asset to our team from Day 1 and while she will be missed, we’ll gain another valuable ally in Credit. I have no doubt she’ll continue to grow and do great things in her new role.
Lauren will make the switch on Dec. 9. We’ll gather at a later date to wish her farewell. Please wish her all the best.
Michael
LaCapra started covering finance and markets just ahead of the 2008 mortgage crisis, which she recalls as a great time to develop an interest in bank balance sheets. Her career path has run across print publications, digital newsrooms and wire services, including roughly a decade at Reuters where she was eventually a senior editor within the global finance & markets team. She also worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as a digital strategist.
