Bloomberg News reporter Peter Flanagan is leaving after six years to join the Irish Times.
He has been based in Dublin covering Irish and European banks.
Flanagan previously worked at the Irish Independent, first as a reporter covering media and marketing, small business and technology, and then as commercial property editor.
He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from University College Dublin.
